Sophie discovered her love for flowers early on, working Saturdays and after school at a boutique flower shop in Kensington, London. She later trained with leading florist Feltons of Knightsbridge, before launching her freelance career as an event florist in central London in 1988.

After starting her family, Sophie left her hometown and laid down roots in rural Devon, where Earth Gallery Flowers was born and quickly blossomed.

Since 2002, she has adorned some of the most beautiful venues—from grand stately homes to rustic barns nestled on the moors. Her work offers a truly stunning visual experience: full, abundant blooms arranged in their most natural, expressive form.

Sophie celebrates colour, texture, and evocative scent, sourcing only the finest British, Dutch, and hand-selected flowers from around the world. With a down-to-earth approach, deep knowledge, and an enduring passion for her craft, she is never more content than when transforming a space into someone’s dream wedding or event.
